Rabbinical Council of Victoria

With over forty-five members, the Rabbinical Council of Victoria (RCV) is the pre-eminent religious leadership body of Victoria's Jewish community.

The RCV's primary role is in representing Victoria's congregational Rabbis, who maintain regular contact with over 12,000 members of the Jewish community.

The RCV aims to foster positive relations with leaders of other communities and to increase community participation among members of the Jewish community. It does so through reference groups and sponsorship of communal festive celebrations, among other programs.

In 2011 the RCV is running a number of projects and programs to benefit members of both the Jewish and wider community.
